- Establish the organization HRD systems; learning and development strategies, policies and procedures.
- Design, implement and manage organizational learning and development initiatives that link the employees to the organization strategic objectives and growth outcomes.
- Assist BU Management in identifying the competency gaps for development, and create the organization overall and individual training and development plan that addresses the needs and expectations.
- Liaise with all stakeholders and provide learner supporting through providing management, administration and coordinating of training skills programme, learnerships, graduates development programme, as well as workplace coaching and mentorship support.
- Management of the learning organization/training center operations: human, physical and financial resources; as well as learner support and customer relationship management.
- Apply knowledge and understanding of the following legislations: LRA, BCEA, SDA, and SDLA & EEA.
- Qualified and Seta registered Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) will :
- Chair the organization Training & EE Committee meetings
- Submit WSP/ATR/PTP/PTR annually and serve as a contact person between the organization and the Seta
- Advise on Workplace Skills Plan implementation
- Monitor grants and levies on the SETA Online Grant System, ensuring grants due are paid quarterly by the organization.
